About Us

Every student is different, and that is why Huntington’s personalized approach to tutoring is so successful. Our students start with a comprehensive Academic Evaluation to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses. With these results, we develop an individualized learning plan. We believe that each child has a unique learning style and speed at which he or she learns. Our programs not only target their academic needs but also help build the student’s confidence that will drive and motivate the student. We also help students develop strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to succeed in school, in college, and in the future.

Our certified teachers provide individualized instruction in reading, writing, math, phonics, study skills and more! We partner with area school districts and schools (both public and private) and are familiar with the learning standards and classroom expectations. We regularly meet with counselors, principals, and teachers in the schools that our students attend.

Our Exam Prep programs are delivered in a one to one setting that provides increased knowledge of content and helps build test-taking strategies. We help students prepare for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, and HSPT. We have stayed closely informed of the changes to the ACT and redesigned SAT. We also offer Subject Tutoring in Algebra, Geometry, Biology, English, History, and most high school subjects.
