All of this cannot be done without an amazing faculty.

We are looking for Center Support to join our team working with children in a full day childcare and preschool environment!

This is a part-time hourly position from 10:00am-3:00pm. This position has a competitive compensation package which includes paid holidays and paid time off.

Center Support Responsibilities

A Center Support responsibility may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• provides additional aid and room coverage as needed for breaks, planning times, and absences
• responsible for the supervision and daily class functions of a group of children, creating a warm, loving and nurturing environment encouraging them to learn, develop and advance
• ensures constant focus on the well-being, health and safety of children
• helps to maintain an attractive, fun, clean, interactive, and orderly classroom that encourages children to create, play, learn and explore
• preparation and distribution of school snacks

Center Support Requirements

• knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
• passion for the care, safety and development of children
• strong written/verbal communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• nurturing, outgoing, positive, patient, team oriented, and has a strong passion to teach young children not by words alone, but through positive role modeling
• possess good judgment and decision-making skills
• maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times
• displays a high level of integrity, dependability and adaptability
