Bowman Chevrolet Teams Up with Trinity Health-St. Joseph Mercy Oakland to Host Free Car Seat Safety Check Event and Raise Awareness for Child Passenger Safety

Is your child’s car seat installed correctly? In 2020, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration revealed that more than half of all car seats in the U.S. are installed incorrectly.

Bowman Chevrolet in Clarkston is teaming up with Trinity Health-St. Joseph Mercy Oakland once again to host a FREE car seat check clinic on Wednesday, November 15th from 11:30am-2:00pm. Car seat specialists will be on-site to verify that children are using a weight and height appropriate seat, check the installation of current seats, and assist with the installation of new seats. They can also discuss the importance of registering a car seat with the manufacturer and offer advice on what to do if the seat is subject to a safety recall.

Each car seat inspection takes approximately thirty minutes and is customized to the information provided at registration.
