About Us

We help our neighbors in Clarkston and the surrounding community who require a “hand up” with home repairs, yard cleanup and gaining access to nutritious food. We strive to have a lasting impact on our neighbors and to positively change the direction of their lives.

We all face challenges in our lives and need a helping hand from a friend or family member. If you know of someone in our community that needs a ''hand up'' and they don't have anyone and/or can’t afford to hire someone, then we are here to help. We help senior citizens, veterans, widows/widowers, individuals with physical or mental challenges, and economically disadvantaged families.

Individuals, groups, companies and churches that would like to support us financially can donate online or send a tax-deductible donation. We are a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Everybody can volunteer with The Community Impact Team! Because we offer a variety of assistance to our neighbors, we have volunteer opportunities for all ages, abilities and skill levels. Do you like to do home repairs, yard work, gardening or just visiting with someone who may need someone to talk with? Then we need you on our team!
