Assistant Events Manager

Assistant Events Manager must be courteous and responsive to the needs of guests, ensuring attendees are properly served, must work as part of a team to serve food and beverages at events. Hours may vary, although evening and weekend events are common. Managers must be prompt, courteous, and able to work well as part of a team. These individuals need to be energetic, as they spend most of their shift on their feet in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities may include:

• Resetting the Event Space

• Side work
• Bartending open, cash, and tab bars (cash handling)
• Maintaining guest tables throughout the event
• Assist the Banquet Manager in closing procedures
• Always smile and treat every guest in a courteous, respectful manner.
• Leadership skills

Applicants must have reliable transportation, be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and have a positive, hard-working attitude. Bartending experience is a plus, but is not required for this position - we are willing to train the right person. Must have open availability on weekends.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
