General Summary:
Our Gift Processing Team is responsible for managing the Gift/Home Decor area of the store. This involves processing the product from start to finish and light merchandising. Gift Processors will also ensure that their department is full, product is pulled from backstock, department floors, shelves, and fixtures are clean, and all products are labeled appropriately. Additionally, this role will ensure that this area provides the highest level of customer service and attention to the customer. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for accuracy and completeness in their work. This position is about 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Accurately processes and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards
Inspect incoming merchandise and document any damages
Price every item while considering freight charges and margins
Assist in ensuring that signage, product display and cleanliness are addressed and maintained at an acceptable standard
Enthusiastically encourage teamwork within the store and with all other departments
Promote customer service as the #1 priority

Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including nights and weekends
Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation (up to 50lbs)
Strong communication skills
The ability to use ladders, drills, box knives, and other miscellaneous tools (the ability and willingness to climb ladders is a MUST)
Superior organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong computer skills and ability to learn computer based concepts quickly
Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time
Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks
