Her drive and passion for real estate has enabled her to excel within the CRE industry since 2005. Working alongside some of Metro Detroit's most achieved real estate developers\, investors\, builders\, and brokers has allowed her the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of different projects. As a result\, Whitney has successfully managed the acquisition\, entitlement\, and development for commercial\, land\, and new residential projects in addition to successfully brokering the purchase and sale of a variety of real estate asset types. This experience led her to truly understand that each deal is unique and requires a specific analysis\, strategy\, and approach.\n\nIn October 2017 Whitney's entrepreneurial spirit\, experience\, and willingness to take risks all pushed her to make the change of becoming her own boss. That is when Findlay Investments was born offering real estate brokerage and consulting services. It was during this time that Whitney discovered an unexpected opportunity. An opportunity to invest in a local Metro Detroit fast-casual healthy restaurant by the name of Beyond Juice and bring it to the Clarkston community. Having no experience in the hospitality industry\, Whitney created a partnership\, Hoops and Buns LLC dba Beyond Juicery and Eatery Clarkston\, with longtime friend Megan Long. Construction kicked off on June 24\, 2019 and the grand opening to the public took place on September 5\, 2019\, the partnership proudly continues to thrive within the community today.\n\nAs a result of going through this process from an owners perspective herself\, compared to managing it on behalf of someone else as she had done many times\, Whitney's approach and perspective diversified\, expanded\, and became even more technical. Working closely with other business owners to help them achieve their goals and growth for their company has become a true passion of hers and she takes pride in making sure that is reflected in each assignment that she commits to.\n\nWhitney holds a bachelor degree in Business Management and Leadership\, is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Notary Public in the State of Michigan. She regularly volunteers her time to local professional associations and groups within her industries. In 2021 she became a Board Director for the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce (CACOC) and joined the Independence Women Business Leader Committee. Beginning January 2022 she will continue to serve not only as a Board Director but also as the Treasurer to the CACOC Executive Board.\n\nWhitney is also a very active member of CREW Detroit and has held a number of leadership positions including Board Director\, Chairperson of the Outreach\, Sponsorship\, and Impact Committees\, and member of the Strategic Planning and Nominations Committees. She is a member and four time attendee of the national convention for CREW Network and also holds memberships with the National Association of Realtors (NAR)\, Michigan Association of Realtors (MAR)\, Commercial Board Of Realtors (CBOR)\, Greater Metropolitan Area of Realtors (GMAR)\, and the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce (WACC).\n\nLearn more at findlayinvestments.com.
